En una ceremonia bastante colorida, Sony ha anunciado los ganadores de PlayStation Awards 2017, un evento que premia los lanzamientos del año en base a sus ventas y la votación de los jugadores.
Así como en cualquier entrega de premios, los ganadores están repartidos en diferentes categorías, el Doble Premio Platino, es el más prestigioso de la ceremonia y se otorga a los juegos que hayan superado los 2 millones de ventas. Seguido de este se encuentra el Premio Platino (en los que se incluyen los juegos que hayan superado el millón de ventas), Premio Oro (500.000 unidades vendidas), Premio PlayStation Network (juegos más vendidos del servicio online) y el favorito del público Premio por Elección del Usuario, que incluye los 10 títulos más populares entre los jugadores. Este año la compañia decidió incorporar nuevas categorías, que pueden ver junto a sus ganadores a continuación:
